Recently, it has strengthened its workforce, with the recruitment of a key person. This rare pearl justifies an experience in companies technology as well as on the ground of the Politics.
A valuable recruit for Paradigm
The investment company Paradigm has recruited Katie Biber in place of CLO (legal director). For information, Katie Biber was also the legal director of the 2012 American presidential campaign of Mitt Romney.
She also cut her teeth at the credit card startup Brexit. Katie Biber also sits on the board of directors of the digital asset platform Anchorage and the cryptocurrency research and development company Protocol Labs.
The new legal director of Paradigm wrote, as part of her recruitment, a blog post which notably defends theusefulness of web3 :
“Over the next few years, I look forward to working with the exciting and cacophonous web3 community to tell our story and finally dispel the myth that our technology is just a solution in search of a problem. (a criticism leveled against the internet in its infancy, too). »
She believes that the “builders” from web3 “of today will democratize finance”. These pioneers would also create an internet that would be fairer and provide the tools that would help:
“(…) humans to exchange goods, services, opinions and information with confidence. »

Market in the midst of crisis: the future of cryptos beyond the noise
This recruitment carried out by Paradigm comes at a time when the crypto markets, in particular Bitcoin (BTC) and Ethereum (ETH)recorded sharp declines.
Katie Biber also commented on these tremors, indicating that “Crypto has had its ups and downs recently”. She clarified, however, that these movements “are just noise”.
Paradigm’s new recruit sees a future ” obvious “ for cryptocurrencies and web 3. It is up to us, according to her, “to make it a reality in partnership with the regulators”.
Crypto companies must recruit the right people. They will be able to help them carry out their project in an emerging sector. The cryptosphere sees the recruitment of Katie Biber at Paradigm almost at the same time as another crypto company, Fireblockshires a key person who was a tenor of British regulation.
